ANNOUNCEMENT IN RESPECT OF NN389

Noteholders are advised that section H (General) of the applicable pricing supplement for NN389 has been
amended to reflect that no exchange control approval is required as this is a local ZAR listed note. Previously
NN389 was classified as an inward listed bond which was incorrect.
