TRP121: NOTIFICATION OF AN ACQUISITION OF BENEFICIAL INTEREST IN SECURITIES



In accordance with section 122(a) of the Companies Act, 71 of 2008 ("Companies Act"),
regulation 121(2)(b) of the Companies Act Regulations, 2011 and paragraph 6.54 of the JSE
Listings Requirements, shareholders are advised that the Company has received notification
that Alpvest Equities (Pty) Ltd with registration number 2021/769610/07 has acquired a
beneficial interest in the ordinary shares of Labat Africa Limited, resulting in a holding of
12.6% of the total issued ordinary share capital of the Company.

As required by section 122(3)(a) of the Companies Act, Labat has filed the prescribed
notice with the Takeover Regulation Panel.
