APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER


SANRAL hereby notifies its debt investors that Ms Pretty Nozipho Makukule has been appointed as
Chief Financial Officer (CFO), with effect from 1 February 2026.

She has more than 25 years of experience in senior and executive financial leadership roles within
public sector institutions. Ms Makukule previously served as the Chief Financial Officer of South African
National Parks (SANParks) and has held a number of other executive finance roles across public
entities and government departments.

Ms Makukule is a Chartered Accountant (SA) and holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Sustainable and
Green Finance from the National University of Singapore, as well as an MBA. She is also an Associate
Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA) and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).

The CFO position has been vacant since July 2024 following the resignation of Ms Inge Mulder. Mr
Dumisani Maluleke, the Deputy CFO, has been acting in the position and will support the transition.

The Board welcomes Ms Makukule to her new role.
