DISCLOSURE OF BENEFICIAL INTEREST IN SECURITIES

In accordance with the JSE Requirements and Section 122(3) of the Companies Act, No 71 of 2008 (the
"Companies Act"), shareholders are advised that Cashbuild has received formal notification from Public
Investment Corporation SOC Limited ("PIC"), that it has disposed of a beneficial interest in the ordinary
shares of the Company, such that the total beneficial interest of Cashbuild ordinary shares held by PIC is
now 9.008% of the total issued ordinary shares of the Company.

The board of directors of Cashbuild ("Board") accepts responsibility for the information contained in this
announcement and confirms that, to the best of their knowledge and belief, such information is true and
this announcement does not omit anything likely to affect the importance of such information. The Board
has relied on the accuracy of the information contained in the notification received from PIC in making this
statement.

Cashbuild has, as required by section 122(3)(a) of the Companies Act, filed the required notices with the
Takeover Regulation Panel.
