VOLUNTARY ANNOUNCEMENT: ACQUISITION OF PREFERENCE SHARES

Shareholders are advised that the Company has been notified that Camissa Asset Management (Pty)
Ltd, on behalf of its clients ("Camissa"), has acquired an interest in the participating preference shares
of Goldrush, such that Camissa's interest amounts to 21.85% of the total issued preference shares of
Goldrush.
