Vodacom Group Limited's acquisition of a further 20% interest in Safaricom PLC


Yebo Yethu shareholders are advised that Vodacom Group Limited ("Vodacom") has released a Stock
Exchange News Service of the JSE Limited ("SENS") on its acquisition of a further 20% interest in Safaricom
PLC – a 15% shareholding from the Government of Kenya and a 5% shareholding from Vodafone, increasing
its shareholding to 55%. The SENS is available for download on the Vodacom website hosted at
www.vodacom.com

As YeboYethu's only material investment and asset consist of Vodacom shares, YeboYethu shareholders
should consider Vodacom's announcements when trading in YeboYethu shares.
