Quilter plc (the "Company") announces today it has purchased the following specified number of its ordinary shares
of 8 1/6 pence (Sterling) each from Goldman Sachs International as an "on Exchange" transaction subject to the
rules of the London Stock Exchange, and the following specified number of its ordinary shares of 8 1/6 pence
(Sterling) each from the Johannesburg Stock Exchange via Goldman Sachs International. (1)

Following the above transactions, the Company has 1,375,265,599 ordinary shares in issue and holds no ordinary
shares in treasury.
