Quilter plc (the “Company”) announces today it has purchased the following specified number of its ordinary shares of
8 1/6 pence each from Merrill Lynch International as an “on Exchange” transaction subject to the rules of the London
Stock Exchange, and the following specified number of its ordinary shares of 8 1/6 pence (Sterling) each from the
Johannesburg Stock Exchange via Merrill Lynch International. (1)

cost (including dealing and associated costs) of ZAR 24,439,577.97.(2)

Following the above transactions, the Company has 1,362,111,825 ordinary shares in issue and holds no ordinary
shares in treasury.
