VOLUNTARY ANNOUNCEMENT: ACQUISITION OF MAPLE WOODS ENTERPRISES
TO ENHANCE LOGICALIS USA'S MANAGED SECURITY SERVICES
Introduction
Datatec, the international Information and Communications Technology (ICT) company,
announces that its subsidiary Logicalis USA has acquired 100% of Maple Woods
Enterprises ("Maple Woods") with effect from 2 February 2026.
Maple Woods is a long-term security partner of Logicalis USA. Maple Woods' flagship
Overwatch offering is an advanced cybersecurity and compliance programme originally
built to meet the rigorous standards of the US defence industry. As a subcontractor to
Logicalis, Maple Woods has been a key contributor to the development and delivery of
Logicalis' managed security offering.
The integration of Maple Woods enhances Logicalis USA's managed services framework
by adding cybersecurity and compliance expertise and providing a platform for expansion
across selected US sectors.
Effective date
The acquisition of Maple Woods Enterprises by Logicalis USA became effective on
2 February 2026, being the date upon which the conditions precedent were met.

Jens Montanana, Datatec's Chief Executive Officer, commented:
"Cybersecurity remains a priority investment area for the Group. We are pleased to bring
Maple Woods into the business, strengthening our underlying capabilities and supporting
the continued scaling of managed security services across our customer base."
Regulatory Disclosure
This announcement is made on a voluntary basis as the acquisition does not meet the
thresholds for categorisation in terms of the JSE Listings Requirements and is therefore
not subject to approval by Datatec shareholders.
